On the eve of the Epiphany, Fr. Philipp, OSB again blessed all our rooms. The young carol singers from the parish visited us and gratefully accepted our sweets and bank notes for children in Indonesia and around the world who, for various reasons, are at risk or have been victims of violence.
We celebrated Epiphany with great solemnity, because Sr. Tabitha Son had on that day also her silver jubilee of vows. She didn’t want to have a special big celebration, as she had already celebrated her first profession quite inconspicuously amidst her few fellow sisters in Meheikou/China. There the sisters had built and managed a hospital. Sr. Tabitha was head of the pharmacy there, as she was later – before she came to us last year – in the large hospital in Windhoek/Namibia.
