The Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing are an international congregation rooted in the Benedictine tradition of prayer, community, and missionary service. Guided by the Rule of St. Benedict, the sisters seek God together through prayer, compassionate service, and a shared life of faith. Embracing diversity in unity, they continue Christ’s mission through education, healthcare, pastoral care, and service to people around the world.

A shared meal can be a powerful expression of love, compassion, and human solidarity. Following the example of Christ, who welcomed and fed those in need, our soup kitchens provide food and nourishment to people experiencing poverty, hunger, and social vulnerability.
Our care for creation is an essential expression of our Benedictine spirituality. Recognizing the earth as God’s gift, we seek to cultivate a relationship with nature founded on gratitude, respect, and responsible stewardship.
Peace is more than the absence of conflict. It is built through respect, understanding, reconciliation, and the recognition of every person’s dignity and rights.
Migration and displacement often bring uncertainty, separation, and hardship.
In the Benedictine tradition, prayer is at the heart of our life and mission. We believe that every person is called to seek God and discover His presence in the ordinary experiences of daily life.
We believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, confidence, and purpose. Following the example of Christ, we accompany women, particularly those experiencing poverty, inequality, and social exclusion, by providing opportunities for education, skills development, livelihood, and personal growth.

“To follow Christ in religious community, to persevere in the Congregation, and to live in obedience.”
“United by the Spirit of Love and a common vision, the sisters walk the way of faith.
”On this way, they are challenged
“to make love for one another a daily reality” showing mutual trust and esteem.
