It was not was easy for us to say good bye to Sr. Matilda, one of the pillars of the Casa community. Sr. Matilda came first to the Casa in 1988, when she was elected as General Councillor. From then on she stayed with some interruptions.
The sisters appreciated the positive presence of Sr. Matilda and her countless services, big and small alike for the community and the congregation as a whole.
In a video presentation we could review the eventful life of Sr. Matilda from her birth in what is now Czech Republic, her being moved to Germany in post-war times, her entering the mission school and our congregation and the sending as postulant to Norfolk Priory in the United States.
In all these experiences, Sr. Matilda could see God’s guidance and loving providence.
