Celebration of Diamond and Ruby Jubilee of Profession

“Arise, make haste, my love, my dove, my beautiful one, and come.

For winter is now past, the rain is over and gone.”

With this introitus we opened the festive celebration of St. Scholastica and the thanksgiving for 40 years of faithfulness of M. Maoro Sye, Prioress General

and 60 years of faithfulness of Sr. Aquinata Böckmann.

The festive mass was presided over by Abbot Primate Gregory Polan.

“Sustain me O Lord, as you have promised, that I may live;

and disappoint me not in my hope.”

We thank very much Abbot Primate Gregory and his driver for being ready to celebrate with us.

As we found the silver jubilee beautifully marked in our guest book, we want to continue the tradition.

During the coffee colloquial we blessed Sr. M. Clementina for her journey back to her home priory Windhoek.

We thank God, who in his loving providence called us together as one Congregation and one community!

May St. Scholastica, the dove, the beautiful one, who was known for her powerful prayer, help us arise and make haste to greater heights in our new journey of attentive listening to one another and above all to the voice of the One who called us unto life everlasting.
