Hosanna to the Son of David;
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel.
Hosanna in the highest.
As the people 2000 years ago, who welcomed Jesus as the Son of David and King of Israel, held branches in their hands, so also we held branches in our hands to welcome Him in our hearts and our community.
We held olive branches, a sign of peace to welcome the Prince of Peace.
In solemn procession following the cross we entered the church.
May the Prince of Peace bring peace to our hearts,
our community and the whole world.
our community and the whole world.
May we be ready to follow him through suffering
and death to new life!
and death to new life!
