In Tanzania, there is only a free seven-year elementary school. Our sisters run state-recognized secondary schools for girls in Peramiho and Ndanda. But not all parents can afford the school fees. However, we do not want to reject talented schoolgirls and so we provide scholarships for girls from poor families to give them the opportunity of a higher education in order to strengthen their role in African society and the value of women. The family and financial background of the student and her academic performance are decisive for the award.
The annual school fees amount to approx. 1000.00 euros and include boarding school accommodation with full board, school uniform and tuition fees.
