On September 24, 1885 the first women entered the new mission house in Reichenbach.
With their arrival started the history of the Congregation, which was later called
Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing.
As in all our houses around the globe, also in the Generalate house in Rome we had a festive liturgy to thank God who accompanied and gifted us throughout the 137 years.
We thanked especially for the sisters, who have gone before us and built with their faithful lives a solid foundation,
and for the Prioresses General, who took on the service of leadership.
A great cheer, let us sing joyfully to our Congregation! Thank God for all our Sisters!
We thank God for the foundation, which our pioneer sisters laid. Now it is us to continue upbuilding our Congregation by living faithfully our charism in every-day life.
