On our Foundation Day September 24, three sisters made their final profession in Nairobi – Kenya. They are Sr. Mary Rita Kyalo, Sr. Bernitta Mwololo and Sr. Felistus Kimote. (from left to right)
At the beginning of the celebration they were dressed in the traditional Kangas.
In procession the whole community went to the place of Holy Mass in the garden.
While the assembly was singing the litany to all the saints, the three sisters were lying prostrate as a sign of total submission to the will of God.
After reading the profession card, they sang together the
Suscipe me Domine,
Uphold me Lord.
At the end of Holy Mass they received each a candle
as a sign that they are called to bring light to our world,
to all those living in darkness.
After Holy Mass the celebration continued in the garden with festive lunch.
