On November 13, it was time to bid farewell to Sr. Antoinette, who departed for good to her home priory Norfolk on November 14 in the morning.
It was not without some sadness that we had to say good bye to Sr. Antoinette, who over 7 years coordinated the life in the Casa Santo Spirito.
Sisters had prepared music, songs, dances and poems to express their appreciation for Sr. Antoinette’s presence among us.
Arriverderci Roma…
Arriverderci Roma
Goodbye, goodbye to Rome
City of a million moonlit faces
City of a million warm embraces
Where I found the one of all the faces far from home
Arriverderci Roma
It’s time for us to part
You’ll close your eyes
And see the seven hills
In your heart, you’ll hear
The songs and laughter
Every dream leads to Rome
You may leave but
Rome will never leave you
Rome will always be
Inside your heart
And see the seven hills
In your heart, you’ll hear
The songs and laughter
Every dream leads to Rome
You may leave but
Rome will never leave you
Rome will always be
Inside your heart
We thank you, Sr. Antoinette, for being with us, for guiding us, introducing to the life in the Casa those, who arrived, supporting those who faced difficulties, being faithful in the services around the house.
We will miss you!
Happiness, our wish for you wherever you go…
