The Chesongoch Mission Hospital in Kenya, Elgeyo Marakwet district, Kerio Valley, is run by our sisters. The Kerio Valley is one of the most remote regions of the country, which is growing very slowly due to the insecure situation. For many years, the region has been plagued by tribal conflicts and insecurity due to cattle rustling between the two major neighboring pastoralist tribes. The result of this situation is the loss of innocent lives, instability and lack of development in the region. However, this has not deterred the sisters from their passion for the mission. A medical resuscitation unit for infants with a phototherapy lamp is urgently needed there. Cost of this device: 1200,00 Euro.
