History

The first Argentinian sister whose formation was after the integration, Sr. Rosanna Funes, OSB, made her final profession on May 18, 2008. More vocations followed. To date, there are five junior sisters, 1 novice, and two postulants. One of the junior sisters is from Chile. The canonical novitiate is done in the Priory of Sorocaba. The region has two houses, the Monasterio de la Epifania located in Buenos Aires and Los Toldos which was established on March 10, 2002. The sisters in Buenos Aires are engaged in teaching and pastoral work. They also run a boarding house for 19 occupants and two guest rooms. The sisters of Los Toldos run a retreat center. As the congregation celebrates its 125 years Jubilee of foundation, the region of Argentina in its 15th year of existence joins the other priories and regions in thanking the Lord for this wonderful gift of MISSIONARY BENEDICTINE VOCATION.
